Private casting lessons on private waters: Teton Troutfitters are proud to offer personalized fly fishing lessons at the Spotted Horse Ranch. This private spring fed water is adjacent to the Hoback River and stocked with native Cutthroat Trout. A groomed lawn makes lessons easy for any age angler. All equipment is provided for success, including rod, reel, and flies. Please wear sunglasses and a hat as the standard protective fishing gear.


    Lessons run for four hours and include basic knots, terminology, equipment orientation,casting instruction, and proper fish handling and catch and release procedures.

 
   All this occurs on a working guest ranch with log cabins and horses. Combine that with the beauty of the native Cutthroat trout and you’ll want to bring your camera to record the catch and release action!


   The cost is $160 per angler with a two person minimum, and may be scheduled as a morning or afternoon activity. Larger groups may be accommodated with advance reservations. Children are welcome .Transportation may be arranged to and from your lodging.
