We fished with the Troutfitters with a group of 8 guys while out in Jackson for a work conference.  Everyone in our group raved about the experience. All the guides are fantastic and clearly have a passion for putting clients on the fish. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for top quality fishing guides in the Jackson Hole area. Our guide, Nic, was outstanding. First, he’s a joy to be around. Extremely patient, super friendly and very knowledgeable about fishing and the overall area. His technical instruction is clear and easy to understand. His approach to fishing is thoughtful, meaning he goes the extra mile to do what’s needed to find fish. Float the canyon with Nic!  He was as skilled on the white water as he was at getting us into some big native cutthroat trout on dries, droppers, and streamers.  The conversation between hoops and hollers was equally as enjoyable.  Go fish with these dudes.

What an incredible trip!  Our guide, Nick, was exquisitely knowledgeable about fishing the river, flies, and rigs.  We had plenty of good fishing action and caught a good number of cut throat trout.  Even though we are beginners in fly fishing, Nick’s patient guidance and encouragement had us casting flies like we were old hands at it. We spent a day with Ryan on the Snake today and it was phenomenal. He had us on fish all day long. He truly knows knows this river and where the fish are. I've been on a number of guide trips around the west and have to say this was one of the best I've ever done.
